What to check before installing

A generated scaffold is a starting point, not a finished capability. Confirm the name matches the folder, the description is specific enough to trigger, and the body names exact files or scripts only when those files exist. Then test the skill with realistic prompts before relying on it.

Is this a complete Claude Skill?

It is a scaffold for the SKILL.md file. A useful skill still needs real workflow details, examples, tests, and any scripts or references your task requires.

Does the generator upload my skill?

No. The form and generated output stay in the browser. The download button creates a local file from the page state.

Why does the tool create a plain-Markdown variant?

The SKILL.md format is the installable skill file. The plain-Markdown variant is easier to paste into planning docs, review comments, or agents that do not yet implement the full skill loader.
